WHAT WE BELIEVE

Though the First Presbyterian Church of Portland was founded in 1872, our roots go back to the 1500's. John Calvin first described our views of God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, what it means to be the church, how we understand Scripture and the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. If you'd like to know more about our beliefs you can go to What We Believe. You might also enjoy reading passages from the Bible that help people focus their faith in God at Daily Lectionary As you have questions, please call our pastor, Rev. Rex Espiritu, at 609.920.4050.
